JUNIOR DISPATCHER

We are looking for a Junior Dispatcher who will assist in scheduling the delivery of oil products in the most efficient and cost-effective manner to meet customer needs. This is a hybrid role as you are also expected to support the branch as a customer service representative when required.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage incoming calls from customers to address immediate issues and direct calls to appropriate parties.
• Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.
• Dispatch company delivery trucks based on geography, product requirements, contractual agreements, and availability.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery trucks and inventory
• Monitor and track the progress of dispatched units
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding the status of their requests or incidents
• Perform administrative and office duties as required

Requirements:

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
• Previous dispatch and/or customer service experience is preferred.
